Gas Springs Types

1. Lift Gas springs

A gas pressure spring is similar  to a push rod  solution. They  can  be  diversified  so much that they can be used depending on your needs (flaps, window coverings, folding beds, kitchen cabinets, etc.) ,where flaps need to be raised or kept open, or where weight compensation is needed.

The item can come with end pieces attached to make installation easier. It is also possible to order the item without end pieces.Gas springs are manufactured in different sizes/strengths depending on their diameter.

2. Traction Gas Springs

Gas tension springs work in the opposite way to the gas pressure spring. The piston rod is pulled inwards by the gas pressure in the cylinder. Gas tension springs are used for heavy ramps that open to the ground. When closing a flap (horse carriage cover, motorcycle rack cover, etc.), the manual force is supported by the gas tension spring.Gas tension springs with valves are also available. In this case the force can be reduced manually but not increased again.

3.Lockable Gas Springs

Lockable Gas springs ensure optimal weight balance and can be opened, closed and positioned depending on the needs or height of the user. The lockable gas springs, also known as gas pressure dampers, are used for ergonomics and comfort, for convenient and safe changing of the sitting and lying positions and for the effortless and precise operation of massage chairs.
